kill me.

The last 8 OOTD photos for the 30 for 30 project are GONE.

Remember the wedding I went to? Well, guess who just realized she wiped out the memory card with the OOTD pics on it for the wedding rather than grab one of the 14 blank ones she had laying around? THIS CHICK.

SO PISSED/ANNOYED.

Now for sure I'm going to have to do a 28 for 28 in February, if only to bring you guys a full set of OOTD pictures.

Balls, I am so mad right now.

30 for 30 - 22/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Art graphic tee
* Yellow skirt
* Black heels

The Accomplice:

* Giant crystal ball necklace, Torrid, $8

The skirt SHRANK! But, like, hardcore shrank! It doesn't help that it's wrinkled (sorry, I took the pic at the end of my day)...I was super excited to wear this really bright outfit, but I was kinda disappointed in this look...

Thoughts?

30 for 30 - Week 3 in review!

Day 15

Day 16

Day 17

Day 18

Day 19

Day 20

Day 21

Lots of out there choices in the 3rd week...out there for me, at least. The soccer mom look on Day 15 was a fail in my book, but I did try out the really short dress again on Day 20 (and didn't hate it), and I also rocked a tee with a blazer, though now I'm curious to try it with jeans rather than trousers.

I'll continue to post the rest of the 30 for 30 photos throughout the month of January (gotta milk those OOTD photos! LOL) and I'm also going to introduce a new weekly feature to the blog starting in the new year...

I'll post a few sales posts now, then off til next year! ;)

Have a happy and safe New Years Eve, take lots of photos, have lots of fun, and I'll see you on the flip side! Thanks so much for sticking with me, commenting, and overall being awesome!

30 for 30 - 21/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Black Tunic
* Black Cropped Pants
* Black Ballet Flats

The Accomplices:

* Multi-chain necklace
* Blue Belt, Torrid, $22 (now available HERE on clearance!)

I love the belt, I hate that it photographs more purple than blue. Boo.

Pretty simple outfit, but that little pop of color adds to it, I think.

I'm going to make this a quick one, I'm at work! Bye, guys! Hasta maƱana!!! :)

30 for 30 - 20/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Brown Jacket
* Blue Dress
* Black Heels

The Accomplice:

None today.

I really don't like this dress. Rather, I like the dress, I don't like how uncomfortable I feel in it. I just feel like it's so short, though the yellow skirt is about as short and I feel fine in it for some reason. Maybe if I wear it with tights, I'll like it better?

Have you guys noticed the different background? I've been taking my OOTD photos in our bedroom lately, since my home office is such a warzone right now.

30 For 30 - 19/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Gray Dress
* Black Cropped Pants
* Black Heels

The Accomplices:

* Sparrow belt, Torrid, $22
* Hedwig ring

I love belts. That's one thing that I've learned about myself throughout this challenge! LOL When I picked this dress/top for the 30 items, I was expecting to just wear it on Thanksgiving because I couldn't imagine how else I'd wear it. Well, this look is very similar to that one, but with the help of a different belt and different shoes, I funked it up a bit and it's a different outfit!

30 for 30 - 18/30

obviously, I'm the one on the left...the one on the right is my aunt :)
The Usual Suspects:

* Beth Ditto Floral Drape Dress
* Black Heels (though they came off basically immediately)

The Accomplices:

* A Multi-chain Silver Necklace, $12, Torrid (I believe...)
* Corset belt, about $30, Torrid

So, yeah. Here is the OOTD that I promised whenever someone posted photos of the party I wore the outfit too. I'm having TOO MUCH FUN in most of the pictures LOL So here's a couple just so you can see the outfit...above is the side view...

And here is an obstructed view of the front. The thought in my drunkass mind was "when they develop this, they're going to crack up!"...it didn't occur to me that it was digital! LOL That's a drunk photographer's thought process for you!

So yeah. Hopefully you can appreciate how cute the outfit was in these less than stellar pics, and you can appreciate that I'm a happy drunk ;)

30 For 30 - 17/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Black Blazer
* "The Who" Graphic Tee
* Black Trousers
* Black Booties

The Accomplice:

*My black and crystal bracelet

This was my attempt at using a blazer to "sophisticate" an otherwise casual outfit...I see a lot of fatshion bloggers (and fashionistas in general) that LIVE in blazers, and whether its the weather in Miami or just lack of fashion sense, you just don't see that here...In any case, I think it looks cute, and it makes me more excited to pair the blazer with maybe a dark pair of jeans, to REALLY get the blazer-meets-casual feel...

The 30 for 30 OFFICIALLY ended today, now I'm doing my best to get together photos of everything so I can post them. I don't want to barrage the blog with 13 OOTD posts in one day either...I'm planning to milk these OOTD photos as long as I can LOL

30 for 30 - Week 2 in review!

8/30

9/30
10/30

13/30
12/30
14/30

11/30
I could not for the life of me format this in order! Sorry!

I have to say that for sure, my least favorite outfit of the week was #10, it was an attempt to use a dress as a skirt, but I think I might have picked both the wrong dress and wrong top for that...Also, I didn't realize how short the dress was on me, and I was pretty uncomfortable in it at work.

My favorite was #9, which was the outfit I wore on our anniversary. I love that yellow skirt!

I also really liked my Thanksgiving outfit, #11, though I really can't think of another way to wear that dress/top...

30 for 30 - 16/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Gray Boatneck Top
* Yellow Skirt
* Black Ballet Flats

The Accomplices:

* Black Opaque Tights, Avenue, $8
* Pepe necklace
* My nighttime driving glasses (I have some eye deformity where my pupils are constantly dilated, so the barrage of light at night makes it hard for me to drive without my super-anti-glare glasses...otherwise, thanks to PRK surgery, I have perfect 20/20 vision)

I LOVE this skirt, and it makes me very happy that I decided to give Alloy another shot...I literally own NOTHING ELSE that's yellow, and I usually shy away from tucking things in, and yet I LOVE everything about this skirt! Yay for trying new things and finding out you love something you never even thought you'd like!

30 for 30 - 15/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Black Button Down
* Cropped Jeans
* Black Sandals

The Accomplice:

* Pink Mustached Octopus Necklace, Hot Topic, $12

here's a stock photo of the necklace, I forgot to take a pic of it on

This was my attempt at making a button down shirt casual...as far as that's concerned, it works, but idk if I would wear it again. It seemed a little "soccer mom" to me...

:EDIT: DUH! I just found a photo of me wearing the necklace on another occasion!

28 for 28? An update post!

30 for 30 - 14/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Gray Boatneck Top
* Blue Khakis
* Black Ballet Flats

*The Accomplice:

NONE! I kinda just threw this on one morning that I was running late to work...

Day 14, which is actually Day 16...

Another head to toe Old Navy day! These ballet flats are like, surgically attached to my feet! Talk about MVPs of the 30 for 30!

So, nothing much to say about this outfit. I promise (most of them) get better from here!

30 for 30 - 13/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Black Blazer
* Blue Ruffle Blouse
* Black Trousers
* Black Ballet Flats

The Accomplice:

* Black and Crystal Bracelet

Here is Day 15, which was a Monday, stepping in for Day 13, which was a Saturday...

I hate the two pieces photograph so different in color, because IRL they both look true black, which I think is great because I got two pieces from two different stores in two different countries and turned them into my first grown-up suit! Also, that spot on the pants is not a spot at all, but actually just the light bouncing off stuff and making a wonky reflection. My home office recently became inundated with the last of the stuff we had at my parents house, so I need to find a new place to take my OOTD photos in the meantime...

30 for 30 - 12/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Art Graphic Tee
* Cropped Jeans
* Black Ballet Flats

The Accomplice:

* Pepe Necklace
* Sunglasses

So, I've decided to just go out of order because I'm still waiting on the photos from the actual Day 12 and 13 from other people, so I'm just going to skip them until I get the photos, or get tired of waiting and just put the outfit back on and take my own photos again...

This was a Sunday look, and I didn't really put too much thought into it because I believe I either stayed home all day (and the only reason I would get dressed under that circumstance is to make the challenge quota LOL) or maybe I went to Target or something, where I didn't feel like dressing up.

Pepe is quickly becoming my favorite necklace, or at least my daily wear necklace...

So, here's Day 14 substituting for Day 12...enjoy! Or don't LOL I won't blame youone way or the other...

Arg!

At this point, I'm a week behind on posting OOTD's, mostly because I didn't get a photo of last Saturday's photo (I went to a party) and I've been waiting for people to post their photos of the event so I can snatch one up for my post, but it hasn't happened and I'm tired of waiting...should I skip that outfit and post it later, or should I just try to recreate the look and snap my own photo? Thoughts?

Anyways, I hope to start catching up on the OOTDs tonight, I haven't skipped a day of the challenge yet, and I'm looking forward to posting all of week 2!

On to the sales!

30 For 30 - 11/30

my pimp cup of the night, I was drinking wine out of it LOL my sister had her matching Gryffindor cup

I've decided to name him Hedwig

The Usual Suspects:

* Gray Dress
* Black Leggings
* Black Ballet Flats

The Accomplices:

* Gold Owl Ring
* Black & Crystal Bracelet, a gift from my grandmother
* Pepe Necklace
* Black belt off a Kohls top

Sorry for the photo overload, but I figure, it's Thanksgiving, I had the photos, why not? Also, the full-length photo is pretty dark, so the detail pics should help you piece together the look. I got a lot of compliments on the outfit yesterday, and particularly on the ring...I thought the outfit was pretty cute too!

30 For 30 - 10/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Black Button Down
* Blue Patterned Dress
* Black Sandals

The Accomplice:

* Black Bangles, $6 for a set of 6 at Torrid

I'm not used to wearing such short hemlines, especially for work, but I thought this was a cute combo, and it's nice to see that wearing the dress as a skirt wasn't difficult. Yay for finding new ways to wear things! Next time I wear this dress though, it'll probably be with some tights, at least when wearing it to work.

30 For 30 - 9/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Black Tunic
* Yellow Skirt
* Black Booties

The Accomplice:
None, the skirt needed no help standing out LOL

I wore this on our anniversary...My husband needed some time to get used to the combination of the bright yellow skirt with my ultra-reflective white legs, but in the end, he really liked the outfit overall ;)

30 For 30 - 8/30

The Usual Suspects:

* Brown Corduroy Jacket
* Blue Ruffle Blouse
* Blue Khakis
* Black Sandals

The Accomplice:

None, but I didn't think I needed any.

And so begins week 2! I love me some blue and brown, but I hardly wear the combination because I don't own many brown garments. This was simple, but cute for work, I think. I have the perfect brown flats to go with this, but alas, those shoes are not part of the 30 items.

How do you like that pose, huh? I wanted something dramatically different from the "hands on hips", so I went for dramatic and different. LOL

Oh, and check out this cute photo from yesterday! My little sister and I in our Potter gear, and it just so happens it was her 24th birthday yesterday!
