30 for 30 - 12/30
The Usual Suspects:
* Art Graphic Tee
* Cropped Jeans
* Black Ballet Flats
The Accomplice:
* Pepe Necklace
* Sunglasses
So, I've decided to just go out of order because I'm still waiting on the photos from the actual Day 12 and 13 from other people, so I'm just going to skip them until I get the photos, or get tired of waiting and just put the outfit back on and take my own photos again...
This was a Sunday look, and I didn't really put too much thought into it because I believe I either stayed home all day (and the only reason I would get dressed under that circumstance is to make the challenge quota LOL) or maybe I went to Target or something, where I didn't feel like dressing up.
Pepe is quickly becoming my favorite necklace, or at least my daily wear necklace...
So, here's Day 14 substituting for Day 12...enjoy! Or don't LOL I won't blame youone way or the other...

30 For 30 - 2/30
so my hair looks batshit crazy. Nice. Thank you, Miami humidity!
The Usual Suspects:
* Gray Shrug
* Nautical Tank
* Gray Skinny Jeans
* Blue/Yellow/White Wedges
The Accomplices:
* Belt, Kohls, off a top
* Sunglasses, Bass Pro Shops
It has come to my attention (mostly because I intended to wear them today) that the cuffed jeans (item #16 on the list) do not fit properly, as they are low-rise, which I didn't notice when I bought them, and my booty just don't do low-rise...so I'm not sure if this is cheating, and I really hope it isn't, but I'm going to have to replace that item with another...otherwise I'll be using just 29 items, because those suckers just DO NOT fit. I'm not sure what I will replace them with yet, I'll have to see if I have any other bottoms I can replace them with...
I think I kinda really like this outfit...mostly because I'm proud of myself for wearing things in a way I never would have before...
Yay!

OOTD 10-27-10
Sunglasses $20, Bass Pro
Long Sleeve White Button-Down Blouse, $20, Old Navy
Black dome button waistcoat, £27, Dorothy Perkins
Black Trousers, £16, Evans
Wedge Sandals, $22, Payless
I recently discovered my "Life Number" in numerology is the number 8...
This number indicates strength in executive leadership, business and management...based on that, I was going for super-duper-business look ;)
Also, people with a Lifepath 8 tend to either succeed above and beyond, or fail miserably at everything they attempt...we're all-or-nothing types...so since there's no gray area, just black and white, I decided to incorporate that into the outfit.
Can you tell I'm into astrology/numerology? :)

OOTD 10-8-10
I love this trench! Wish I could wear it more often... |
Sunglasses: Bass Pro, $20
Trench: Old Navy, between $20-$30 a billion years ago (and still looking brand new, because I hardly ever get to wear it)
Tunic: Loop 18, $17.98
Leggings: Fashion Bug, $15
Sandals: Target, $22
featuring the tunic and the cat |
Is anyone else as tired of seeing me in those shoes as I am?! That's the only thing I'd change about this outfit, otherwise it's really cute if I do say so myself!

OOTD 10-6-10
Sunglasses: Bass Pro, $20
Tunic: Old Navy, < $20
Belt: Torrid, but I took it off the dress it came with, so idk how to put a price on it...
Leggings: Faith 21, $5.80
Sandals: Target, $22
I don't know why, but I REALLY liked this outfit. I think the belt made it. The leggings kinda suck (I like the navy color and the length, but they're a bitch to keep in place) but they're not awful.
AND there's nothing in this OOTD that's a new purchase, so it just goes to show that there might be something to this remix challenge...
I do need new shoes though, fo' realz.
I got a BUNCH of packages in the mail today and yesterday, but grad school is currently kicking my booty, so hopefully I can catch up with both my review posts AND my homework tomorrow!

OOTD 10-4-10
To commerate the "Autumn" weather we had this morning...it was 75 degrees and breezy til about 11am, and it is currently 89 degrees out even though it's damn near sunset. Yay, Miami's bipolar weather!
Sunglasses: Bass Pro, $20
Cardigan: Old Navy, approx. $20
Tunic: Faith 21, $22.80
Camisole: Old Navy, probably between $7-$12 (I wouldn't have paid more for it, but I can only guess cuz it's a billion years old)
Leggings: Faith 21, $5.80
Sandals: Target, $22
Plus an outtake from this OOTD LOL

OOTD 9-23-10
Forgive the posing, lighting and overall mess...I just went ahead and snapped this really quickly just to have a photo for today.
I may or may not do this everyday (chances are I will do it 1-3 times a week), but I figure if I'm spending so much time telling you about clothes I'm wanting and eventually buying, you should see what I end up doing with it once it's in my clutches.
*Sunglasses: Bass Pro (you can find cute stuff ANYWHERE if you really look!), $20
*Top: Old Navy, from a million years ago, so I'm assuming about $20
*Skirt: from this Old Navy haul, $29.50...it's really big on me, even though I bought a size down, because Old Navy is NOTORIOUS for having crazy variation even within the same size. The fact that it's an elastic waist makes it even bigger because I can't really cinch it...I really like the pattern though, so I'll make it work.
*Shoes: Torrid, also really old (and only ever worn twice, they're REALLY uncomfortable), I'm guessing $25 because I wouldn't have paid more for them.
SO yeah...I didn't put a whole lot of thought into the outfit, and even less thought into the photo, but I promise they'll get better now that I'm giving myself the job of doing this!

don't mind my cat, Brady...he was having dinner under the table. |
