Inspire Me Friday - Style Icon!

 In this installment of Inspire Me Friday, I want to bring the focus to everyone's favorite Fatshionista, Beth Ditto! (ok, so idk if she's EVERYONE's favorite, but she's totally mine and definitely an inspiration!)

 Speaking for myself, Beth Ditto in bodycon outfits and out-there ensembles has totally given me both inspiration and courage to try out styles that I otherwise might not have ever even tried on, let alone rocked!

Then of course, there are her ranges for Evans...um, LOVE! She started her first line in collaboration with Evans in 2009, and I regret to say I wasn't "IN" the fatshion community back then, because I really missed out! When her second range dropped in 2010, I was all over it!!!

I'm DESPERATELY ISO this dress in a UK22 or 24, if anyone is willing to part with it. KTHX!

So, yeah. Here is the OOTD that I promised whenever someone posted photos of the party I wore the outfit too. I'm having TOO MUCH FUN in most of the pictures LOL So here's a couple just so you can see the outfit...above is the side view...

And here is an obstructed view of the front. The thought in my drunkass mind was "when they develop this, they're going to crack up!"...it didn't occur to me that it was digital! LOL That's a drunk photographer's thought process for you!


So yeah. Hopefully you can appreciate how cute the outfit was in these less than stellar pics, and you can appreciate that I'm a happy drunk ;)

TOLD you I've been shopping too much!

So, yeah. I've been shopping. Again.

I bought myself these 2 pairs of black trousers because, well...I don't have black trousers. Really. I don't. Usually if I wear pants to work, it's either a pair of really dark jeans (though only on Fridays...it's not a rule or anything, it just seems right), or this one pair of green trousers I have, and they're kind of a pea soup green, so there's only so many tops that look right with them.

That's not even the best part, though.

Remember when I first announced the Beth Ditto collection at Evans? And remember how I was lusting after that floral dress? WELL I GOT IT!

LOVE!!!!

And I had a discount code for that saved me £9 (about $15), so I paid £70 (about $112) for all three items, including shipping overseas!

I really hope everything fits, because I've never shopped at Evans before, but I've heard that their return process is a nightmare...wish me luck!

Beth Ditto collection launch at Evans!

Beth Ditto is releasing her 2nd collection for Evans on September 23, but it's available to online shoppers (like myself) TODAY!

I pretty much LOVE the floral print drape dress, ADORABLE!!! The only thing stopping me is that it's over $80 US, ouch.
