to dye ot not to dye?

I'm torn...should I dye my currently virgin hair blackish-blue or blackish-purple?

 

for reference, this is what my hair looks like now! LOL

I look insane, but I had to post this! LOL check out how I woke up this morning! Bless my husband for not running in the opposite direction! LMAO

Top: Kohls, $24 plus 15% off...it's a little long (ok, VERY long), so next time I'll wear it with something that I can tuck it into.

In other news, I need a haircut. I've been cutting my own hair for about 2.5 years, but I have no experience in that department other than (luckily) evenly cutting 5-9 inches at a time off my head when my usually mid-back to butt length hair gets unmanageable. Any hair experts want to recommend a low maintenance yet flattering style for me? Photos would be a bonus, and if you can recommend someone in Miami, FL, I'll love you forever.
