To be fair, I don't think I really gave thrifting a fair chance. When I walked into the store, it was PACKED! Buzzing with people milling all over the store looking at clothes, furniture and mismatched china. The fact that the store itself was cluttered, plus that it was full of people made me uncomfortable (I MUCH prefer organization, maybe online shopping has spoiled me)...
For sure, if you want to find a wedding dress, this is the place to be, apparently.
Probably the most interesting thing I saw there, besides the pair of ski boots...
the most stylish bag in the whole place, just so you get an idea of the offerings...So, like I said, it was packed because (I'm assuming) they were closing for renovations that week, so I didn't spend as much time combing through the racks as I could have. Actually, I was in and out of the store in a matter of 10 minutes. Perhaps if all the people hadn't gotten me so flustered, I might have found something grand. So for right now, thrifting is not my thing, and kudos to all you fatshionistas that can find gems amidst the chaos...maybe I'll give it a try at a later date.
