It's a head-to-toe UK day!
It's under 80 degrees out today, which means a coat was needed. I'm from Miami, people...60 degrees is like a state of emergency!
I LOVE the peter pan collar dress from ASOS! That is all. :)

This skirt is HUGE. I was pulling it up all day, and I ordered my regular size, to suffice to say that if you're thinking of ordering it, you should probably size down.
Also, I heard a lot about these flats, and how the elastic in the back is really tight and annoying. I thought that was an exaggeration until about 2 hours of wear, when I realized I wanted to yank them off and throw them somewhere. So yeah. These are going to need to be cut or something.
Aesthetically, at least, I like my little ballerina outfit though. LOL

Sorry for the lack of sales posts today...I shall forgo the excuse and work-related melodrama for your benefit. Suffice to say that if I had to sum up my work day in one word, it would be "AAAARRHRGGGHRHHHHH!HHHHH!!!!H!!!!HHHHH!"

ASOS Curve, giving it another go!
After the first and last time I ordered from ASOS, I was iffy about relying on them to dress me for my friend's wedding...but after reading a fellow fatshion bloggers posts, I decided to jump in head first!
I got the coat Ms. Georgina wore here, except I got mine in an olive/khaki color. I wish they still had it in Navy, it's SO CUTE!!!!
I also purchased the pink dress she's wearing here, though I didn't realize she'd reviewed it before I bought it...I wish I had! Apparently the dress has no give so sitting in it is difficult...hopefully by some miracle I'm the one person on earth that doesn't experience this LOL
I also got another dress, and I seem to have gotten the last of everything because they are all out of stock on the website (sorry!)
Now the question is, will the dress arrive on time? The package is set to arrive on the 7th, and the wedding is on the 8th! EEP! That's cutting it close, eh? Well, I have a back-up dress in mind, and it is one that I already own and that no one has seen me in yet, so if anything, at least I know I won't have to panic...but I do hope that ASOS comes through for me, that pink dress is just too adorable!

ASOS - The Saga Concludes...
I received a very nice email this morning from ASOS...letting me know that the package I never received must have been lost in the post, and is now unrecoverable. They WOULD have resent my package, except now everything I ordered is out of stock, so they gave me a full refund.
That was nice of them to fix the situation without a fuss (though I think considering the circumstance, anything less would have been absolutely RIDICULOUS) but it ULTRA SUCKS that I can't have those items and also, what would have happened if I hadn't contacted them? I have been shopping online (OFTEN) for YEARS and never once has a package gotten lost...even when a package is set to arrive later than expected, I've always received emails from whatever company...this went COMPLETELY unnoticed by ASOS, so what kind of service could I expect from them in the future?
I really want to give them one more shot, but when I do, it'll be because I see something on their website that I HAVE to have...I know that the US website thing has them tangled up too, because I've been seeing on other blogs and communities that others have been complaining recently of packages taking forever to arrive, but if they are expanding, it should be to the BENEFIT of their customers, not their detriment.
If anyone has anything to say about ASOS, good or bad, I'd love to hear it, since the one and only experience I have with them has left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth.

ASOS...the saga conitnues....
I still haven't received my package, so I sent ASOS a customer service email yesterday afternoon. It was 9:30pm in the UK, so I didn't expect a quick response. I got an email this morning saying that they received my email and were going to work on it...nothing so far.
So, I just wanted to keep you guys posted on this, and hopefully I have some news soon.

ASOS, what gives?!
Remember when I told you guys about my first ASOS Curve shopping experience?
Probably not, because it'll be an entire month this week since I ordered from them, and still NOTHING.
Mind you, I DID opt for the free standard shipping, but if you read back, you'll see that it shouldn't have made a difference, because although it was set to take "less than 2 weeks", my birthday would still not have passed, and I'd be able to wear my new clothes then.
Well, my birthday has come and gone. And the clothes have not.
It has been 4 weeks and nothing.
So, uh...ASOS...what gives?!

uh oh, guess what I just did!
I SHOPPED! lol
I just had my first online shopping experience at ASOS, a UK based store that sells both straight size clothes and plus size in the form of their brand, ASOS Curve.
I checked out the ASOS Curve clearance section, clicked on the top right corner of the page to change the currency from pounds to dollars, and away I went!
I have a thing lately for career clothes (I guess because I spend most of my time at the office!) so I've been focusing on building my work wardrobe. Check out my finds!
It seems I scooped up the very last dress (sorry!), you know I'm a sucker for dresses and considering I have over 2 dozen in my closet right now, I don't have an LBD! Til now, that is...bua ha ha! Actually, I'm trying not to get my hopes up on this one, because they only had it in a size smaller than what I usually wear, so we'll see how it goes... ($30.33)
This top is a little immodest for work, but as soon as I saw this baby pink tunic, it screamed "BIRTHDAY!" to me...and since my 25th is approaching (fast), I thought, "why not?" ($18.54)
The last item I got was a black pencil skirt, it's a little shorter than I like, but then again I'm shorter than most so maybe that will even it out. I don't have enough skirts in my life, at least not ones that aren't plaid and punk, so this was necessary! ($11.80, a SUPER STEAL!)
The best part is that I selected Standard Delivery, meaning that my package will get here from the UK in less than 2 weeks, so shipping was free. If I had upgraded to ensure my package would arrive in less than a week, it would have only been an extra $12! I'm just in no rush, since my birthday is in 3 weeks ;)
